That being said, I have picked up on quite a few things during the 9 years Skyrim has been out. There may be some that are just straight up incompatible, or have a compatibility patch that I haven't linked. There will likely be some mods that do the same thing, just differently. The idea is just to help people pick and choose here anyway. Some people have created full load orders that are available for download, but that is typically against the wishes of the author of every single mod in those packs. Bethesda games can barely run themselves, mechanically. Be ready to use a dozen different tools to get it working in your game. If you are interested in a mod, read the description. You should not just download everything that will eventually be in this list, and you should always know what you are doing ahead of time. I want to make this very clear: this is not a modding guide. Anyone that actually knows the term likely knows that can be a bit of a silly question. Many people have asked what kind of mods I have in my load order. I'm looking to move on to the special edition, and have been preparing for (and dreading) the cross-over for some time. In that time I have browsed, read up on, cleaned, altered, and installed likely thousands of mods. I've been modding Skyrim for quite some time. This is very much a work in progress and likely will be for some time.
